About Us
Our name is from the Akan proverb “Nea onnim no sua a ohu,” translated as “He who does not know, learns — and comes to know” (adinkrasymbols.org). Our interpretation is that our ancestors recognised the importance of knowledge-driven action.

We are a start-up intradisciplinary, non-partisan, non-profit think tank dedicated to the social and economic development of Africa and Africans, regardless of their physical location on the earth. We believe through research and education, sustainable growth, development and transformation in Africa is achievable in this lifetime. We use research to find pragmatic solutions to problems, working with individuals, communities, organisations and beyond to implement and monitor progress. We pride ourselves on making information accessible, enabling everyone to make informed decisions.
Mission
To build a unique world class facility in Ghana, from the ground up. The facility will house the headquarters of research and education centre. Our approach, grounded research, will establish strong foundations as the basis of learning and development, will equip and empower all students, regardless of background, to fulfil their individual potential. We will work with all interested parties; parents, educators, organisations & policy makers to implement this approach.
Strategy
Rooted in pragmatism, we pursue rigorous, interdisciplinary research, using our findings to:
- Develop educational principles that promote sustainable growth, development and self-actualisation.
- Support individuals, communities, organisations, and policymakers to implement and monitor solutions.
- Cultivate a global community of stakeholders committed to the socioeconomic empowerment of all Africans.
- Offer practical solutions to urgent social and policy challenges, acknowledging the complexity of social dynamics and political realities.
- Ensure knowledge is accessible, empowering people to make informed decisions.
